點水樓

refined chinese dining with

Dian Shui Lou is a local restaurant specializing in Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisines with a few locations in northern Taiwan. The accoladed restaurant has each dish meticulously prepared to a high standard, staying true to the traditional cooking methods of the cuisine, from braising to steaming to stewing. While definitely at a higher price point than most restaurants and eateries in Taipei, Dian Shui Lou offers a quality dining experience that feels special for a reason. Whether it’s the prized soup dumplings or the cold starter dishes or the traditional desserts and pastries, they respect and elevate local ingredients fit for a tableclothed setting.

Each of the locations is thoughtfully designed to create an immersive dining experience that draws from the scenery and architecture traditional of southern China, each with a unique atmosphere that can even make you forget you’re in a department store (and yes, some locations are conveniently situated within department stores).
