SheMe House 拾米屋

a local haven for coffee connoisseurs

Tucked into a side street halfway between Beitou and Xinbeitou station, SheMe House is easy to miss if you don’t know what you’re looking for. The exterior looks little more than an unassuming shack hiding in plain sight with little more than a modest sign to signal something more. Once you walk in, it opens up to a surprisingly large, bright and airy space. The vaulted open air roof lights up a simply furnished industrial space filled with coffee things.

The focus here is very much on the craft of coffee, though they offer a wide selection of non coffee drinks. They roast coffee beans in house and carry an extensive selection of beans that they sell by the bag (120g and 240g). They have daily feature brews in pourover form as well as espresso based drinks, and they also make their desserts in house. It’s a great afternoon pick me up, and a great spot to pick up some locally roasted beans for home brewing.
