眼鏡咖啡

a quiet little cafe on a quiet little street

Megane Café is an unassuming local coffee shop tucked into the quiet residential streets of Da An. A secret haven for coffee lovers and slow mornings. The interior is homey yet spacious, with lot of natural light. The décor is a combination of Kinfolk-y slow living…core with a tinge of Japanese influence. The walls are filled with books and magazines and other kitschy items that add to the lived-in atmosphere.

It’s a cozy place to hide out for some well-brewed coffee and feel miles away from the bustle in the rest of the city. In addition to coffee, they have some house-made sweets, butter toast in the mornings and rice ball sets for lunch. There isn’t a ton of seating or staff, but that’s a part of the charm.

Update Sept 2020: According to their Instagram, Megane Cafe has been closed as of July 2020, with no word on what’s next.
