Situated just blocks from the water and right in the city center, Comobá is an all day cafe that lives in an airy space that used to be a pharmacy. The traditional architecture perfectly complements the casual industrial aesthetic of the cafe as a welcome haven from the heat and tourists in central Lisbon, and quite honestly probably a welcome choice for your digestive system after eating francesinhas and bifanas.
They specialize in your typical cafe fare with breakfast and lunch options all made with organic and seasonal produce. The quality extends across the board: fair trade coffee, artisanal imported matcha, all served on local Portuguese ceramics. It’s the kind of breezy and modern place that would feel just as at home in LA or Sydney yet remains distinctly and deliberately true to its roots. So whether it’s a leisurely breakfast or an afternoon recharge coffee takeaway, Comoba is well worth a stop
