2024 Update: the beloved Foxtrot markets abruptly shuttered all locations in April
Where there are yuppies there tend to be some form of curated corner store. You know, the kind of place that has a nicely branded logo, raw chocolates, gluten free chips, and at least 5 different brands of seltzers and kombuchas? You know, the staples of any millennial’s transient fridge and pantry. Well, for Chicago (and some parts of DC and Dallas), we have Foxtrot Market delivering (no really, they do deliver locally!) on all the modern essentials for a millennial picnic.
But anyways, Foxtrot is an undeniably convenient stop to pick up some food, drinks and gifts. They keep plentiful inventory of refrigerated and pantry stable grocery items, as well as giftable things that don’t require much thought (think: nice candles, wines, local beers etc). They also have a built in coffee shop and ready to eat, grab and go breakfast and lunch bites. They carry their own brand of ice cream, have all the pieces needed for a good charcuterie, an array of CBD products, and even some cleaning supplies and toiletries to round it out. Add in some indoor and outdoor seating and you’ve got yourself an easy win format.
