Minsheng Community has no shortage tranquil tree-lined streets full of cute cafes, so it’s no surprise that All Day Roasting Company is located here. The local roaster occupies an airy space on a residential block, with an extended glass ceiling that offers shelter from the heat or humidity or rain (let’s be real, Taipei isn’t celebrated for its weather), while allowing natural light to filter through the tree leaves into the cafe. Not a bad place to sit down with a fresh cup of coffee and linger for a while.

All Day Roasting Company is style and substance. The coffee is roasted and brewed with care, and while the food menu is haphazard (think: sandwiches, salads, and the inexplicable nachos and shakshuka and hot dogs and pastrami croissant all collected into one neat section called “snacks”) it is on par with most other “western” style cafe restaurants in the city. The space is simple and industrial, raw textures of cement and wood accented with exposed ceilings and metal furnishing. Seating is a plenty and varied, from bar seats perfect for a solo work session to lounge-y areas for a coffee date to a coworking room for meetings. All in all, a solid place to savor a cup of coffee or grab your beverage of choice and settle in for a work session.
