the good liver

a wonderfully curated homeware store out for my heart

The Good Liver is a beautiful little houseware shop located in the industrial part of Arts District. It’s easy to miss, tucked around the corner south of 7th St and a block from the more trafficked block of Santa Fe Ave. But it is a gem well worth a detour for lovers of Japanese houseware, kitchenware and anyone who appreciates a well curated shop filled with quality things from around the world (mostly East Asia and Europe).

The small space is bright and airy, with high ceilings and large windows making a peaceful atmosphere to peruse the carefully displayed goods. From quality kitchen tools to artisanal decorative pieces, each product feels intentional (I mean, you’ll be questioning whether you want a Glokenspiel, or a $190 wine opener for that matter). Simple, but additive to your home. Whether you’re looking to buy something or just seeking inspiration, The Good Liver is always worth dropping into. You might just leave with a lifestyle upgrade.
