Petee’s Pie is a precious homey haven in a crazy city. The charming shop delivers All American comfort and nostalgia in every slice, and has over the years gained a loyal customer base of people who appreciate classic desserts. The founder, Petra Paredez (aka Petee), comes from a family of bakers, growing up helping out at her parent’s bakery in Virginia. Now, she brings pie shaped doses of joy to New York City.
With a little bakery counter in the Lower East Side and a cozy cafe in Clinton Hill (and a Gotham Market outpost in Midtown), whether you’re looking to order a whole pie or stopping in for a slice, Petee’s has decent ground covered in terms of delivery radius. It’s truly some of the best pies in town, and made even better with their commitment to using local ingredients (most of which are sourced within New York state). The pies are as pretty as they are delicious with the most buttery flakey crust you could ever ask for. From fruit pies to cream pies to chess pies, classic year round options and seasonal specials, there’s something for everyone and you truly can’t go wrong with any choice.
