Few places are outshined by their address. Little Owl is a beloved gem of a restaurant in the quaint streets of the West Village that boasts an address more famous than itself. As in, while you eat, you’ll be watching tourists stop by to take pictures of the building made world famous as the main apartment building in Friends. Sure it’s newer than the show, but it’s been a resident of the cozy corner in red and blue for a decade and a half, earning its place as a neighborhood mainstay.
Little Owl is the kind of place you wish you lived by, a casual spot serving up contemporary new American comfort foods, an all day menu on weekdays, brunch on weekends. Plenty of vegetarian options, fresh beignets, drinks, tables ready for friends to crowd around. What more could you ask for.
