In a neighborhood full of coffee shops filled with yuppies, Bright Side fits right in. This all day Aussie style cafe lives up to its name, it feels brighter in here, sunnier, warm and casual in the way Aussie cafes tend to be. Just steps away from the waterfront, it makes for the perfect breakfast or lunch spot and a great place for a casual meeting over coffee or cocktails (their happy hour starts at 2pm!).
The food is simple, wholesome and colorful, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan friendly options. From açai bowls and pancakes to avo toast and salad bowls. They have plenty of coffee and tea options, as well as a handful of cocktails, wine and beer. There is a decent amount of seating indoors, and on warm days, the tables spill out into the front courtyard in the front as well. Bright Side is a lovely neighborhood mainstay, equally good for a walk-in weekend hang as it is for a quick coffee to go.
