devocion

a city favorite farm to cup coffee shop

Devocion is a well-established name among coffee enthusiasts in New York City. The home grown Certified B brand has been around for well over a decade now, with five locations around the city. In a city full of fast grab and go coffee, Devocion is a sanctuary, a haven from the chaos outside, where you actually feel welcome and compelled to sit down for a moment and indulge in a pause. On any given day, you’ll be surrounded by dozens of others, a lively third place for remote workers looking for a change in scenery, young families stopping by for a morning pick me up, long time locals catching up over coffee, and visitors from near and far seeking a cup to go as they embark on a wonderful day in the city.

And then of course there is the coffee. Freshly brewed, espressos pulled to order, coffee roasted locally in Brooklyn, the beans processed in Bogotá just days before. The Colombia-born founder prides himself with the streamlined origin to cup relationship ensuring each cup of coffee Devocion serves is mere days since the very beans were harvested. And even to an undiscerning palate you can taste the freshness and care in the quality product and understand why it’s become a core staple of the New York City coffee scene.
